Metro Center, Washington DC.
The subway cars in Metro Center form an interesting shadow when they pull into the station. The ceiling tiles emphasize the effect, and you end up with this valley of light that perfectly divides the dark platforms on either side from the channel down the middle.
Metro Center station is a good example of Brutalism in architecture, with exposed concrete facades everywhere. The crossroads of the station is this point, where the east/west and north/south lines cross paths.
